Replace a Card in One Step, and Pay With Link
The payment methods section was rebuilt around the flows people actually get stuck on.
What's changed
- Every card, primary or backup, has a Replace action that runs the full verified-card flow and hands the new card the old card role; the old card is detached only after the new one is attached
- When adding a card, choose whether it becomes the primary or a backup instead of every new card silently becoming the default
- Link is accepted as a saved payment method and shown by its account email
- An expiring, expired or recently failed primary card gets a prominent callout with a Replace button
- If your billing profile is incomplete, the dashboard asks for the missing details first instead of showing an empty card form that fails on retry
- The card form recovers from a failed load with a clear retry message, and redirect wallets such as Revolut Pay are kept out of the card verification step so they no longer leave a verification hold behind
