Control what each bucket does

Configure storage for the application that uses it, from permissions to object history.

  • Object versioning

    Keep previous versions of objects and restore them from the bucket browser when versioning is enabled.

  • Access keys

    Create keys with the bucket permissions your application needs. Revoke keys when they are no longer used.

  • CORS rules

    Configure which browser origins can access your bucket and which methods they can use.

  • Lifecycle rules

    Set expiration rules to clean up objects and manage how long data stays in a bucket.

Connect with the tools you use

AWS CLI, boto3, rclone and S3-capable NAS backup tools can connect to the same endpoint. SFTP is available for file managers such as FileZilla and WinSCP.

From bucket to first upload

  1. Open your account

    Create an account or sign in to the console.

  2. Create a bucket and access key

    Name your bucket, choose its settings and create a key with the permissions you need.

  3. Connect your client

    Set the S3 endpoint, add your access key and secret, then upload your first object.
