FKS stands for Fluid Kubernetes Service, DanubeData’s managed Kubernetes offering, and is not generally available yet. DanubeData operates the tenant control plane and cluster reconciliation; you deploy and operate workloads with standard Kubernetes tools.
Yes. Each FKS cluster provides a downloadable kubeconfig, so you can use kubectl, Helm, CI/CD systems, and other Kubernetes-compatible tooling.
Worker nodes use eligible DanubeData VPS plans and are billed hourly. You choose the worker profile and autoscaling limits, and FKS adds or removes worker nodes based on demand.
FKS provisions private tenant networking with Cilium for pod networking. Gateway API CRDs and Envoy Gateway provide Kubernetes-native application routing, and LoadBalancer Services are exposed through DanubeData’s managed edge.
