A Rebuilt Create VPS Page With the Price Always in View
Creating a VPS is now one guided page: choices in the order you make them, a summary with the price that follows you, and errors that take you straight to the problem.
What's changed
- Choose the image, plan, location and network, access and options, then the name, which is pre-filled and explains its rules
- A summary follows you down the page with every choice, a link back to each, the monthly price and why an order cannot be placed yet; on smaller screens a bottom bar carries the price and the order button
- Plans show vCPUs, RAM, disk and price on any screen, down to a phone
- Problems are summarised by section and the first field at fault gets focus, including errors returned by the server
- Automated snapshots switched on while creating a VPS are now saved; if you created a VPS with them switched on before 20 September, check its snapshot setting
- A failed price quote no longer shows €0.0000/hour, and Add payment method opens the payment dialog
